The K-style gutters are aesthetically beautiful, durable, and have excellent water-carrying capacity. We install two sizes of K-style gutters: 6 inches and 7 inches. Most of our residential and commercial rain gutters are aluminum K-style 6-inch gutters because they are the most reasonably priced. We install them with expert craftsmanship, ensuring they will last 20 to 50 years with minimal maintenance required.

Castillo’s Gutter & Aluminum will recommend K-style 7-inch aluminum gutters for buildings that require more water-carrying capacity. These buildings are estate-type, larger homes with a larger roof surface area, often featuring metal roofs, terracotta roofs, or steep roof pitches. The primary difference between a 6-inch and 7-inch gutter is that a 7-inch gutter has 36% more water-carrying capacity than a 6-inch gutter, and larger downspouts to help discharge the water.

Gutter System Design

All our aluminum K-style gutters are custom-made for the building on which we installed them using our design plans.

Each gutter run is seamless aluminum with no place to leak. A single gutter run can be a maximum of 75 feet. We keep our gutter runs in the 50- to 60-foot range.

The following is a simple gutter system design for gutters on the sides of the house. The house has an existing K-style 6-inch gutter on the front and a pool aluminum enclosure in the rear with an attached gutter. As seen in the gutter design below, it calls for 148 feet of aluminum gutters, six gutter runs and five downspouts.

As Castillo’s gutters & Aluminum started the job, the homeowner decided to replace the existing gutters in the front of the house. The roofing crew damaged the gutters by accidentally leaning a ladder on the front gutter above the garage and bending it. In addition, the existing gutters were hand-painted, and the homeowner wanted the same color as the new gutters on the side of the house, which have a Dark Gray factory-baked finish.

Making each gutter run is done by a gutter machine that we carry to each job site to make our custom gutters. We are skilled at terminating the gutter ends, connecting gutter corners, and attaching downspouts. An interlaced mechanical joint with an adhesive sealant attaches each gutter run and all connecting end-caps or corner pieces.

With our installation expertise, we build the entire gutter system from scratch to the exact dimensions of the building. Gutter Replacement

Our Gutter Replacement Service starts with a Free Quote. We carefully remove the old existing gutters and inspect the fascias and soffits to ensure the structure is stable and undamaged, allowing us to mount the new seamless aluminum gutters. We remove the old gutters, parts, and debris, and perform the cleanup. Our next step is to proceed with the job as if it were a new gutter job, as described above, utilizing our Gutter System Design and Installation offering.

Gutter Cleaning

Our Gutter Cleaning offering is a comprehensive service call where our experience technician inspects the mounting of each gutter sections, gutter runs, downspouts, fascias, soffits, building’s external walls, and surround landscape near the building and check for damage and the ability of the gutter system move rain water away from the building. Next, remove large amounts of debris from the gutters by hand, then flush the gutters with water to ensure that water flows freely through the downspouts and away from the building. Every gutter is cleaned and checked for the free flow of water. All problems and defects we find are documented on our final invoice, along with a complimentary estimate to resolve the issues.

Gutter Maintenance

Our Gutter Maintenance Offering is the same as the above Gutter Cleaning Offering that can be chosen to be automatically provided every quarter, 6 months or annually. Our experienced technician shall arrive at your property at the periodical interval you chosen and will perform the Gutter Cleaning offering as described above.

The customer can select a maximum repair budget for each periodic service call (i.e., $200, $400, etc). Generally, the process involves keeping your credit card information on file for future repairs. The approved budgeted amount is used to repair any issues found during the service call and fix them on the spot. If the repair cost exceeds the approved budgeted amount, we contact the building’s owner or property manager to discuss our next step. If we find no problems or issues, no additional charges for repair services will be applied.

All repair performed under our Gutter Maintenance is covered by our 2-year workmanship warranty.
